ETHIOPIA KOCHERE MILL – ETHIOPIAN HEIRLOOM / WASHED

Kochere is home to diverse ethnic groups, including the Gedeo people. The region holds a rich cultural heritage, with unique traditions, music, and dances that continue to nurture coffee’s birthplace. Here, around 650 smallholder farmers cultivate cherries and deliver them to Matewos Ersemo and his family, who oversee processing, fermentation, and drying on raised African beds.
